8 days spa & wellness trip to Zalakaros, Hungary

The thermal spa Zalakaros is located in a very quiet area about 30 km from Lake Balaton, surrounded by vineyards on the river Zala. Zalakaros invites to beautiful walks and is an ideal starting point for excursions. However, we spend most of our time in the thermal bath, which can be reached through a tunnel directly from the hotel. In a park of 8 hectares, we have about 2,400 square meters of water at our disposal, 970 square meters of which are covered. The healing water is suitable for the treatment of musculoskeletal complaints, metabolic disorders and complaints of the autonomic nervous system. Use the natural healing powers of water for relaxation and recovery of body and mind!

23.09.23: Bus trip from Gersthofen via Munich - Salzburg - Graz to the Hungarian border. In Hungary we will make a stop and have lunch in a very nice Csárda with Hungarian and international specialties at reasonable prices. Afterwards we will continue to Zalakaros to the *** Hotel FREYA. Arrival around 18:00. Room check-in. Dinner at the hotel.
24.09.23: In the morning free time e.g. bathing and relaxing, before dinner drive to the Small Balaton with a hike. Small Balaton is one and a half meters above the level of Lake Balaton, its extensive marshes served as a hiding place for the population during the Turkish period. The created biotope is a unique habitat for many animals and plants. The lake is crossed by the Zala River and purifies the water of the great Balaton.
25.09.23: Time at leisure, it is recreation and bathing announced, just let the soul dangle...
26.09.23: Departure around 13:00 o'clock to a small round trip to the big Lake Balaton and dinner in a Csárda.
27.09. - 29.09.23: Bathing and relaxing, maybe a massage or a stroll through the town, up to the vineyards with a view over the country.
30.09.23: Return journey after breakfast via Graz - Salzburg - Munich to Gersthofen.
